Over the next couple of weeks, I`ll be uploading some screencast tutorials demoing how to setup your UCM environments
I`ll be covering the following::
1. A Standard UCM 10gR3 single node/server configuration.
- Howto Upgrade to 10gR35
2. Migrating it to a 2 node contribution - consumption environment.
- Setting up archiver for contribution to consumption replication.
3. expanding the environment to a clustered 2 node Contribution environment.
4. Installing and configuring the inbound refinery / conversion server for pdf conversion.
5. Cloning consumption servers on a VM environment.
The base setup will be Windows Server 2003 running IIS 6 and MSSQL2005.
Keep a lookout

Sounds like a great idea. I’m looking forward to it.
I`m having trouble converting to AVI divx with my Adobe captivate app in windows 7
First video is ready to release as soon as I can get it converted and uploaded..
Hi John,

When will be released?
Regards,
Andre Almar
Well.. .. ..
as soon as I figure out how to convert to avi I will be uploading a teaser screencast of Digaset for you all to drool over
YA John, when WILL desktop be released?!
We have fallen behind with this.
I was hoping to get a lot finished in September and do some webcenter work - whilst I was off on Holiday project managing repairs and updates to my house in Slovenia; I just didn’t get the time and I was off for the whole month
October and November has just been none stop UCM/RM Migration from 7 to 10g consulting and development that has not left me with any time for Digaset due to a very demanding client.
We have also run into some real big issues with google wave integration which has caused me one huuge headache and are considering to possible drop it - but I`v invested too much time into that so we are waiting for google to provide either more documentation or bug fixes.. Sigh..
Almost into December and I will be in Romania for the month - possibly visiting a few people at Oracle to discuss webcenter and see whats going on.
This leads me up-to January; now my colleague Landon should be free and back from Germany but I may be jumping onto a fairly large project in London so hopefully he will takeover for the time being.
Also I have taken up develpment of a new site with a couple of friends and that’s sucking up most of my free time, its supposed to be just a hobby but its taken away some Digaset time because I`m fed up with google wave and its issues.
The new site - Its a Ajaxy web based game actually looking for site Beta testers if your interested and have a spare 10 mins or so to look at the site post onto the forums
I have about 10 dedicated people signed up providing feedback etc on design look feel
At hte moment we are working on the game interface but the homepage of the site is almost complete waiting on the character designer at the moment to add some more imagery.
