I stumbled upon Web Monkey Magic through Bex Huffs blog..
And I have to say, this is one of the best blogs I`v read!!

There’s not much there on the site at the moment and most of it centers around the Web Content management aspect or Oracles UCM, like Site Studio & SSPU… But what he has posted has been great, he`s not one to be afraid to speak his mind and has some useful tips and tricks!

It also makes me smile when I see that he has run into the same problems as me!

When setting up custom meta data fields from Config Manager, you will notice they have set field lengths:

Text: 30 characters.
Long Text: 100 characters.
Memo: 255 characters.

This guide will show you how to extend them.
It is important to note that these configurations will only affect new fields added, not old ones.
You will need to modify any old meta fields directly from the database and run a reindex.

Just been reading through the acrobat blog..

It was interesting to see that they have gone for Six Aparts - Moveable Type blog publishing platform..

But then again.. I have to agree Moveable Type is the best blogging web app out there..

The only thing Moveable Type doesn`t actually have is the huugge open community like WordPress.
