Well; Landon and I are still exceptionally busy, as you can see by the lack of updates going on from within our blogs.
I am happy to say the architecture and design of the userinterface are just about there. I see about another month of work left to do and probably an extra month to tidy it all up. Although maybe in February we will upload a screencast or at least show you some pictures of the progress we have made..
Work on our engine, will begin early January and will be written in Ruby on Rails, I don`t see most of this being complete until April, May time though.
What have I been upto?
Well mostly working on our frontend and our framework, but I have also been running though Douglas Crockford`s javascript website, getting to grips with some of his programing techniques and running through some of his javascript lectures, which I would highly recommend to anyone!
I have also been reading through my Action Script 3 and flex 2 books and can`t wait to begin working on some of the interactive applications that I am going to be developing as part of the suite of products that we will be providing.
Its all looking very exciting and from my point of view, everything is coming together nicely and yes there have been some problems and hold ups, but nothing major to stop us.

The Zonta; a new Smart based car, made it’s world debut at the 2007 MPH shows. “Unfortunately I couldn’t make it, but I hear it did make quite an impression.”
It currently has 250BHP per tonne power to weight ratio with just a tiny tuned 700cc Smart engine! And whats best is the cost!
For around £13k you can get one of these custom built and painted for you!
Now compare this to the Ariel Atom which costs around £30k+.
This car looks like a beast from the front and look at those gorgeous 17″ wheels; I can`t wait to go and take it out for a test drive!
The only drawback and dislikes are the Smart seats (but I`m sure these can be pulled out and replaced) and unfortunately the rear of the car doesn’t have that smoothed off finish like the Atom, but if you could splice the back end style of the atom with the body of the Zonta this car to me would be perfect!
If I had a choice forget the cost between the Atom and Zonta, I would have to go with the Zonta its bigger, it looks more aggressive.
Well its done. ![]()
As part of a project for my new company which will be launching in April I created a Pinata.
The idea was just to find out how long it would take and how much it would cost.
It took 3weeks to make, with the help of pinataboys website.
And cost me about ÂŁ35 to make.
Here are some of the photos
